I've always associated eggs with Easter, but I never really knew what they mean or why. Below is a short description of the meaning of Easter eggs:
Eggs are a symbol of new life. Some people compare the broken shell of an egg to the opening of Jesus' tomb during the Resurrection, representing the new life of all mankind. In regards to dying eggs, there isn't a symbolic meaning or reason behind the tradition, other then just decorating them for fun. Many churches (including mine) give out red eggs on Easter. They are meant to illustrate the blood Jesus shed on the cross. ❤️ © Information credit goes to: www.huffingtonpost.com and www.techtimes.com © Background image credit: shopwalkinlove.com -- I hope you found this interesting and learning something new! CORRECTIONS:
Hi everyone! Today, I'm posting about a 9-day Bible reading plan that I've created for Easter. This plan starts on Saturday, March 19th and ends on Easter Day (Sunday, March 27th). I've tried my best to incorporate most of the AMAZING story of Christ's death, resurrection, and other events that happened prior to that. Each day has about 7-13 verses to read. Please note that this is just a summary of the full passage, so feel free to continue reading on if you'd like to!
Printing options 1. Save this image and then print it accordingly from your computer. 2. Click here to open the Word Document. Once open, click "Edit Anyway" and then print from there. NOTE: This link only works on a computer that has Microsoft Word installed on it. 3. Click here to open the file in Adobe Reader (PDF form) and print from there. NOTE: This link only works on a computer that has Adobe Reader installed on it. (Some devices might be able to open the links above, but it most likely won't be in the original file format.) I personally suggest doing #2 because the original file was created as a Word document and the quality of the image you print will be clearer through there. I hope you all enjoy using this and will be able to learn more about the story behind our faith! God bless! -Christina |
